Bodrum winters are not alpine, yet damp wind, rain, and sudden drops can affect seniors, puppies, and short-coated pets. The goal is support when needed — not overdressing everyone.
Dry wet fur after walks, offer bedding off cold floors, and avoid drafty spots. A light coat helps some dogs; not every pet needs one.
Less activity can mean weight gain and stiffer joints. Short regular walks, portion control, and check-ups planned with your veterinarian help.
Heaters and cables indoors can be hazards for curious pets. Toxic plants and antifreeze also come up more in winter — keep them out of reach.
