In short
Puppy core vaccines (distemper, parvovirus, adenovirus) are repeated at intervals. Rabies is discussed separately. Kennel cough is often added for boarding or busy social lives.
Cats: cat vaccine schedule. First visit: when to vaccinate.
Puppies
Parvovirus can be severe in puppies. How soon they go out is a veterinary call, balanced with socialisation.
Bloody diarrhoea or repeated vomiting is not a vaccine-day question — see urgency.
Adults
With no booklet, titres or a restart belong to the veterinarian. Boosters may be yearly or longer by product.
