In short
You do not have to see a worm. A pot belly, poor weight gain, diarrhoea or scooting can raise suspicion — or there may be no signs.
Product and interval belong to the veterinarian. Cats: cat internal parasites. Skin parasites: dog external parasites.
What you might see
Puppies may have a bloated belly and a dull coat. Bloody diarrhoea can be urgent for other reasons too — diarrhoea in dogs.
Do not
Do not share tablets between pets or use human dewormers. Bring a fresh stool sample if asked.
