Dental exams and treatments take place at our clinic in Bahçelievler, Turgutreis. We see owners from the Bodrum peninsula; there is no branch in other neighbourhoods.

Bad breath is not always “normal”. Tartar, gum inflammation or a broken tooth is assessed at the exam — the procedure is not guessed at home. At Turgutreis Pawspital, dental care is planned for your pet that day.
When to book a dental check
Bad breath, extra drool, chewing on one side, fussiness with food, red gums or visible tartar are worth a message. Older and small-breed dogs often need oral checks; cats can hide pain for a long time.
This page is not a diagnosis and does not teach home extractions. Sudden facial swelling, uncontrolled bleeding or inability to swallow: call during hours.
What we discuss at the clinic
The veterinarian looks in the mouth during the exam. Cleaning, extraction or another step is only clear after that. Some procedures need anaesthesia — not a one-size package.

- Can tartar be cleaned the same day?
- It depends on the exam and your pet’s general condition. This page does not promise yes or no.
- Is anaesthesia required?
- Some oral procedures need anaesthesia so we can work safely. Need is decided at the exam; the protocol is not identical for every animal.
- What does it cost?
- It varies with teeth involved, extractions and preparation. We do not publish a fixed price; ask by phone or WhatsApp.
